Feliciano Foundation is a non-profit organization that is throwing The Best Party in Texas, Super Bowl Party 2011, to remember! This fun-filled, exciting party will be hosted by an “A” list celebrity, Professional Athletes, and Musicians. Emerald City Band will rock the house for the event.
Jose Feliciano, Founder of Feliciano Foundation, is the eldest of a Puerto Rican immigrant father, and French Irish mother – both deaf. He rose above poverty and adversity to become one of the country’s most respected certified financial planners (CFP), author & international speaker and is quick to attribute his success to the incredible gift he received from his parents who are deaf. Parents who never see limitations, only endless possibilities.
The son of deaf parents, Jose is passionate about contributing to the deaf community and paying it forward. A portion of the party’s proceeds from “The Best Party in Texas” event will benefit the CSD - Communication Service for the Deaf. The organization and its partners are responsible for launching the first nationwide video relay service for the deaf community. Their innovative solution allows deaf and hearing impaired individuals to communicate by telephone with hearing callers through live video interpreters. Other organizations, including The Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity, Wednesday’s Child, and the Leanne Novacek Memorial will also benefit.
All net proceeds go to the following charity organizations.
